We’ve officially turned five, and what an absolute ride it’s been. When I first bumped into Danny five years ago (after he’d just left the Armed Forces!) he approached me with what at the time was just a vision. After a couple of weeks to-ing and fro-ing, he had a website that’d get him and his concept off the ground. That concept grew to be what is now Soldiers on the Move.

The raw passion the team has towards what other removals businesses would see as just “part of the job” is unreal. Every move is coordinated, precise and is treated like a military operation, and everything is considered. It’s inspiring & refreshing to be part of a team where everybody wants to do a great job, and that’s the culture the business has embraced.
It isn’t just a fluke either. One look behind the scenes and you’ll see why everybody’s so passionate. The genuine sense of brotherhood amongst the team keeps everybody pushing forward, even on the most challenging days, and the overarching mission to bring more and more ex-servicemen into the fold is something that’s held close to everybody’s heart.
Fourteen veterans. Fourteen veterans have passed through our doors since we opened for business in 2021. Fourteen people we’ve helped transition back to civvies.
Some are still working day to day with the team, and others have used us as a stepping stone to other career paths. Wherever they went next, we’re thankful for every minute they’ve spent working with the team, as we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.
We’re also incredibly thankful to everybody who’s worked with us. We can’t name names or this’ll turn into a short essay rather than a celebratory blog. They know who they are, and their undying support has helped us keep pushing forward.
